This art was done specifically for a T-shirt that I proudly wear right now.

 

 

John Carpenter is my favourite movie director and The Thing might be my all-time favoute film -- it sits right next to In the Mouth of Madness and David Cronenberg's Videodrome.

 

In case you didn't see the movie and love horror -- do it without delay. But still: the drawing depicts the Thing's form as seen in the kennel scene -- I chose that one since it's the most intricate and imaginary. And the flying saucer is its vessel that's seen entering Earth's atmosphere at the beginning of the film.

I'm satisfied with what I did and will continue to do Carpenter-related art. And I'm sure to come back to the Thing. I guess, I was assimilated.
